It is a high pleasure for me to have such opportunity to write to you. First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Valikhan. I am 18, and live in Tashkent – the capital city of the Republic of Uzbekistan (or Uzbekistan).
Today, I am a first-year student of the University of World Languages (UWL). My major is English philology. Before entering UWL, I had been studying Law in the college for 3 years. I decided to bind my future life and carrier with human rights. I know that such developed countries as the US, UK, Germany and others can offer high level of education and lay substantial foundation in the field of Law. So, I decided to continue my education in the sphere of Law abroad. To do this I need to put my English on sufficient level. That’s why after 3 years of legal studies I have entered UWL.
I like to lead an active life. While being at high school I had been playing basketball for 3 years, participating in different kinds of competitions. In the past, I would bound myself with reading school literacy only, but now I prefer to read books like “Study power”, “Working with texts” etc. Also, I like to read any interesting articles, especially about new technologies and psychology. Self-control and time-managing are my favorite themes. Apart from reading and sport I like listening different kinds of music. Together with my sister I have recorded our own tracks.
Shortly about my personality. I would consider myself as a person with such traits as openness, kindness and helpness. Besides, as my mother said, she wanted me to be well-mannered and well-educated person. My parents and grandmother had been bringing me up to be honest, kind, polite and responsible. I’m sociable and helpful, and I often follow the rules of etiquette. I can confidently say that I’m adventurous, organized and goal-seeking. I often reached goals that I had wanted to achieve. It’s one of my best sides. Sometimes, when I see injustice I can feel myself a little nervous or less happy.
You are welcome, bro!
